To the 9/11 Community:

This Saturday, October 21 the World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program is hosting its first ever Research to Care Community Engagement event! The program will be held from 8:30am – 4:00pm at the NYU Langone Medical Center, located at 550 First Avenue, New York, NY 10016.

This free, interactive, one-day event is a unique opportunity for responders and survivors to hear about new developments in 9/11 health research and learn how to maintain good health.

The Research to Care program begins with remarks from Dr. John Howard, the WTC Health Program Administrator, and will be followed by presentations by leading researchers who will discuss the health effects from the 9/11 attacks.

The afternoon program includes small group discussions about various health topics. Participants will have an opportunity to ask researchers how their findings impact their health and other questions about the 9/11 health effects.
