Our Holiday Pledge: A Note from Mike Barasch

As we mark our 20th Holiday Season together since that horrific Tuesday morning and during the worst health crisis in over a century, I want to ensure all of our clients that we will continue to fight to get 9/11 victims the justice they deserve from the Victim Compensation Fund (VCF).

We will also continue advocating for those in urgent need of financial assistance because of the aftermath of September 11th, 2001. The VCF Special Master has been wonderful in expediting the claims of those whose illnesses are deemed “terminal” and those who are being evicted from their homes due to lost income.

My firm will always help victims to navigate the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) and Victim Compensation Fund with dedication and compassion. And, you have my word that Barasch & McGarry will continue to lead by example for others to emulate. With both the Health Program & VCF extended until 2090, it is my hope that we have 70 more holiday seasons together.
