Barasch & McGarry Commemorates the 23rd Anniversary of 9/11
On the 23rd year of remembering the horrific September 11, 2001 attacks, we acknowledge the sacrifices made by first responders as well as civilians who returned to their downtown offices, apartments, and schools after the attack.
We remember not only those who died that day, but also the tens of thousands of people who have become ill, or passed away, since 9/11.
Barasch & McGarry was founded on the core values of advocacy and justice for the 9/11 community and a commitment to ensuring access to the free health care and compensation that 9/11 victims deserve. We recognize the immense challenges they have faced, from health concerns to financial hardship, and we commit ourselves to be their voice, guide, and advocate.
We urge you to help us spread the word to your former coworkers, neighbors, classmates, and fellow responders. We urge you to spread the word to retirees, especially those who have moved away from the NYC area. And we urge you to spread the word to the families of those who have lost a loved one due to 9/11-related cancer. They may not realize it’s not too late to make a claim that may enable them to keep their home and send their kids to college. We assure you that they won’t be taking from others.
As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement and service to the 9/11 community, Barasch & McGarry staff will be spending the day helping pack meals in collaboration with 9/11 Day.
It is a privilege to represent the 9/11 community. We will never forget.
With deep respect,
The Lawyers and Staff at Barasch & McGarry
