A Holiday Message from Michael Barasch of Barasch & McGarry

December 22, 2022 | Michael Barasch

Friends, as we celebrate our 22nd Holiday Season together, I want to assure all of our clients at Barasch & McGarry that we will continue to fight to get 9/11 first responders and survivors the justice they deserve from the Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) and the World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program.

As more and more 9/11 responders and survivors are diagnosed with Ground Zero-related illnesses, our tireless advocacy continues.

We will also continue to urge Congress to fully fund the WTC Health Program, which confronts a $3.7 billion deficit in the coming decade. The health program has been an invaluable resource for our community, allowing 9/11 victims to access free, comprehensive health care that saves lives.

My firm will always help victims to navigate WTC Health Program and 9/11 VCF registrations with dedication and compassion. And you have my word that Barasch & McGarry will continue to lead by example for others to follow. With both the health program and the compensation fund extended until 2090, it is my hope that we have many more holiday seasons together.
