A Holiday Message from Michael Barasch of Barasch & McGarry

Friends, as we struggle to celebrate our 20th Holiday Season together since that horrific Tuesday morning, I want to assure all of our clients at Barasch & McGarry that we will continue to fight to get 9/11 first responders and survivors the justice they deserve from the Victim Compensation Fund (VCF).  

In the midst of a global pandemic that has affected the 9/11 community deeply, our tireless advocacy continues.

We will also continue advocating for those in urgent need of financial assistance because of the aftermath of September 11, 2001. The VCF Special Master has been wonderful in expediting the claims of those whose illnesses are deemed “terminal” and those who are being evicted from their homes due to lost income. 

My firm will always help victims to navigate the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) and Victim Compensation Fund registrations with dedication and compassion. And, you have my word that Barasch & McGarry will continue to lead by example for others to emulate. With both the WTCHP & VCF extended until 2090, it is my hope that we have 70 more holiday seasons together.
