Jon Stewart Presents “Brothers Before Others” Ally Award to Mike Barasch

Jon Stewart presented Mike Barasch with the annual Ally Award, given by “Brothers Before Others”, a wonderful charitable organization that helps responders deal with fatalities and mental illness.  Mike was honored for his “tireless efforts supporting the 9/11 Community.” Jon’s kind words of introduction were “You know an event is special when an attorney is being honored. For everyone who needs the assistance and guidance to get into the (WTCHP and VCF) that can provide them and their families compensation, (Michael Barasch) has been utterly invaluable. He takes care of them, he cares about them and he respects their privacy and their journey.”

Mike Barasch was humbled by the award and Jon’s touching remarks. He assured Jon that “I am not one that looks for, or needs, any public recognition for my firm’s work. The work we all do for the 9/11 Community is its own reward.”
