Remembering our Vets and First Responders

November 11, 2020 | Michael Barasch

On this Veterans Day, once again, we honor the men and women who have served our wonderful country. As the son of a proud WWII Army veteran, my father Marvin and my uncle Norman taught me how important it is to recognize and thank those who protect our nation and whose sacrifices and service make us safe. We must never take our security for granted.

Equally as important is recognizing those who protect us every day at home — our first responders. We thank our firefighters, police officers, EMT’s, Army National Guard, health care workers, and many other responders for their daily selfless acts. Especially during this time of a global pandemic, we owe a deep debt of gratitude to them for selflessly putting their lives on the line. They put the welfare and safety of others before themselves. That is what makes their careers so noble.

We have so much to be grateful for on this Veterans Day. Please pass this note along to someone you know who deserves our appreciation.

Respectfully,
Mike Barasch
